Positive: We liked how well equipped the room was. Check in was easy and staff friendly and qualified
Negative: The bed being a double and as large as the suite was, the vanity was small.
Summary: I would recommend Candlewood Suites for the location, the cleanliness, and the space tge suite provides.

Negative: The water in La Crosse is overly softened so when you take a shower it's like an Exxon Valdez accident you just can't rinse the soap off yourself. That's not the hotel that's the city

Positive: The staff was the best and very accommodating to us with our 2 cats! We had an extended stay of 4 weeks due to waiting for our new house to close. Staff took great care of our 2 cats during the weekly housekeeping to ensure their safety and followed our instructions. A great space for a long stay with pets!
Negative: The laundry machines were filthy- dryers not kept clean-lint so packed in to vents it looked like a safety hazard. Washers smelled of mildew and mold growing on gaskets that looked like they'd never been cleaned. I would've liked there to be a spa in a long-stay hotel!

Positive: Clean, drains in tub are slow but very clean staff was friendly
Negative: Absolutely no amenities. They have a little shop. Only one grill outside worked and it was filthy .
